Spurs Youth Basketball League is now in its 20th season. It will engage more than 25,000 South Texas youth in a positive basketball experience, where participants learn not only to play basketball but also learn the importance of team work, cooperation, respect, sportsmanship, fair play and discipline in a safe environment.
Now in its eighth year, the Tim Duncan Character Program rewards more than 3,000 children for demonstrating core character traits such as integrity, respect, dependability, fairness, caring and civic responsibility. The prizes range from tickets and t-shirts to notebooks and pencil packs.
The Spurs are proud of the AT&T Center’s commitment to become the greenest arena in the country. Since 2008, the AT&T Center has become 100% wind powered, installed water saving and recycling fixtures to save 13.2 million gallons of water annually and has instituted recycling throughout the AT&T Center.
